Hi Ricky, You can enjoy sound from a device connected to the receiver in a zone other than the main zone. For example, it is possible to play a CD in Zone 2 while playing a DVD in the main zone. However, only audio signals from [USB], [Bluetooth] (while in BLUETOOTH RX mode only), [Home Network], [Music Services], [FM TUNER] and audio signals input from AUDIO IN jacks are output to the Zone 3 speakers. -Anthony
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The first two zones get taken up if you plug in a Sony television you can control the volume through your TVs remote control if it is a Sony that's why it dedicate to the two zones but I do have outdoor speakers for my third zone which works great which I can have a different music playing and the TV on in the other room so yes it is a dual zone sort of hopefully that helps Sean
