• you may have to hook up an optical audio cable from your tv back to the receiver's optical input. Worked for me.

• I have Roku plugged into one of the HDMI and it works fine - both video and audio

• I believe you meant to say HDMI (not HTML) plug. I haven't tried Roku itself, but have had no problems with amazon tv or apple tv. Have you tried changing the audio modes?

• have you plugged in your HDMI cable out from the receiver into the input HDMI plug on your TV set if that does not work you might want to get a HDMI splitter if you don't have a unused HDMI input on the TV set if you need more information on the HDMI splitter check out YOUTUBE, hope this helped
