“Have Samsung 5.1 home theater speakers with this reciever....they sound GREAT! Only issue is that I have a passive subwoofer. Can I add banana plugs to it and double up with the center speaker line? Would that create an issues?”

• Try them on series. A parallel connection may have too low impedance.

• I found two solutions for this passive subwoofer. Either purchase an amplifier to meet the needs of this passive unit or I'll do a series connection with the Center speaker to make it 6 Ohms minimum impediment for this receiver.
