can you attach a analog VCR to the video input and and audio input and get it to work on the TV via the HDMI out connector? I guess what I'm asking is does it have an analog to digital converter in it so the analog signals from the VCR use the HDMI out. null

I could not get my receiver to work with the AV jacks. Upgraded to Onkyo. Works as expected.

Yes all inputs -HDMI component or composite will be output through HDMI ouput.
