• just plug your chromecast into the hdmi. Works great.

• Hi Ott, Streaming devices needs external power such as the amazon fire TV stick. You have to plug it in a wall outlet with the supplied power adapter. For more info, pls contact the streaming device manufacturer. -Anthony
