“Is Plex an application built into or available on this TV? Wondering if Plex is an application that is preinstalled or can be added to this TV. I'd prefer to not have to add a Fire TV or Roku to it. Thanks”

I do not see a PLEX app in firmware v3.043 (latest as of Feb 2016), however, there is a "Videos" app that can play from a DLNA source. I've used that a little bit, but my DLNA server installation (Universal Media Server, a free software app that I run on Linux) is a little flaky after my last upgrade of it, so I haven't used this feature much, especially as I have an Apple TV hooked up to it).

There are several hundred apps already available with a consistent flow of new apps being released for the Android TV platform. The Google Play store opens the door to many apps you may already be using on your mobile devices. Dave
