This is not a good tv for high light situations and direct sun......it is also not very good even in low light situations as one would expect. Phil

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi ChrisALLEN3285, This TV has a glass like finish, which would seem to pose a possible issue in direct sunlight. Where my TV is mounted, there is a lot of sunlight in the AM, but then it shades in early afternoon and evening. I don't find any issues; however, if this tv got a lot of direct sun exposure, I might look at a TV that had more of a mat finish? Your only option may be to order and see if it works out, if not, you will typically have 2-4 weeks depending on your rewards status i.e. Elite Premier for extended return time. Best Buy is really good at changing out TV's if they don't fit your needs. Trust me, I swapped out 3 TV's, but 2 of the 3 were because of issues with the actual TV. Hope this helps.
