NO! Still a problem that they are not acknowledging as a problem..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, Sony has not solved the problem. Most likely a panel issue (outsourced with poor response rate). I exchanged 3 brand new 940d's after presenting photographic evidence. I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my CC company at this point because Sony will only exchange for the same model or a comparable model which doesn't really exist right now. I wished I had researched a bit more before making my purchase as this issue widely reported. The display model looked amazing in store. I feel cheated to be honest. I attached two examples of the issue. The first is extremely typical of any animated content. The second is when navigating the built-in menu.
