QuestionI have this TV and noticed that it gets VERY warm at the bottom. Around 110 degrees. Is that normal?

- Answer Yes these TVs do run pretty warm. The processing for 8k does take more power to achieve. Just from feeling around mine I can tell you it too is quite warm at the bottom. As long as you are feeling the heat escaping that is a good thing because it is allowing the TV to vent properly.

- Answer X95k is 4k and z9j is 8k. X95k is mini led backlight, z9j is led backlighting. X95k is 2022 model, z9j is 2021. Those are the main differences. Z9j is master series so its panels are hand Picked by Sony to be the best available for better screen uniformity. X95k could be a hit and miss depending on your screens uniformity. z9j also has speaker inputs to be used as a center channel on your system if you desire. Sony puts all of its latest tech into master series and build quality is top notch as well. Processors are the same in each unit.

QuestionI have this TV and in the middle of playing a game with my PS5 on it, the entire screen went gray with black vertical bars. This is displayed on each input now, and the power light has turned red and keeps blinking 5 times. How do I fix this?

QuestionDoes Z9J USB port support Ethernet connection (i.e. using USB ethernet adapter)? If yes, could it support the internet speed beyond 100 MP/s?

- Answer Ok, I was able to test the wired ethernet speed using TP-Link USB3.0 USB-To-Ethernet adapter (UE300) across USBs. I use the apps "internet speed test" in the tools session. The Z9J original wired ethernet RJ-45 jack gave 94 MB/s, which was expected as it only supported 10/100MB. Interestingly, with this speed, the test results suggest that it is not sufficient for 8K streaming (yellow light) TP-Link USB3.0 USB-To-Ethernet adapter (UE300) works for all USBs to connect to the internet (you need to turn off the wi-fi or disconnect original wired internet from RJ-45 to make it work). USB 1 & 2 (2.0) gave ~345 MB/s download and similar for upload with my internet service program (your results will be different depending on the program you have) USB 3 (3.0) gave the maxima speed I can get with my internet service program ~375 MB/s download.

QuestionIf Amazon prime vedic, Disney+, and Netflix have a production of 8k Movie, would the Z9J be able to play the Movie at 8K resolution through streaming? if NOT, could you provide the rationale? Please don't worry about devices (i.e. PS 5), Many thanks!

- Answer The answer is yes it is capable if Sony was to push a firmware update allowing it. Currently the only 8k you can watch is PS5 games, a PC outputting a 8K signal, or a video camera capable of 8k connected directly to the TV via 8k HDMI cable playing back 8k footage.

For different TV sizes we recommend checking our other TV models that offer the 65 inch and other TV sizes such as the X90K 65" the A95K from 65 to 85" and X85K from 43 to 85". - Answer Centered. 100%. We had an mount for a previous center mounted 65" TV that we had for 11 years that was mounted in stonework above our fireplace. When we went to replace that TV, we found that only the Sony still had a center mount. To avoid having to re-drill a new mount in the stonework, we got the Sony. It was a perfect fit for the old center mount.

- Answer If it’s an 8K player you’ll want to connect to to the 8K HDMI slot and make sure you get an 8K HDMI 2.1 certified cable. However if it’s 4K then a regular 4K in the 4K slot will work good.
