A:AnswerI may be wrong, but I do not think it is PAL-capable. There may be a European model that is, but I have been all over the menu options and have not seen a PAL option. Sorry.

A:AnswerThere was no removable screen protectant film on my boxed/new XBR65a9g. The screen is obnoxiously reflective in addition to providing an excellent picture. When TV is mounted using the provided stand, the TV is canted/leaning back albeit slightly. At table height, this exacerbates the visibility of lamps reflecting on the screen.
A:AnswerHi geelan, For TVs sold in the US, we only recommend plugging into AC 120V, 60Hz. You may check this link for more details: https://docs.sony.com/release//specs/XBR75X850E_mksp.pdf -Jerome
A:AnswerDon’t know what the local dimming switch is but I got the 850 and the picture is really nice. I’m on over the air antenna and the picture is excellent and even better on Blueray movies. I got mine on sale and they got it Black Friday for $1999. They say the 950 is one notch up but the 850 does just fine for me. The sound is not all that great. I matched mine with the lg sj9 sound bar and I’m completely happy with it.
A:AnswerI would not pull on the tv. Mine is on a large wall bracket and when we need to move it we reach behind the tv and move it with the bracket. Better safe then sorry.
A:AnswerThe general rule of thumb for a high definition TV is to sit back about 1.6 times the diagonal screen size. THX recommends 1.2 times the screen size. Most manufacturers recommend 2.5 times. So, for a 75"......
General rule of thumb is 10'
THX is 7.5'
Manufactures is 15.5'
Go for it!
A:AnswerUnfortunately my full motion wall mounted TV doesn’t pull out far enough to get behind for a precise measurement, but I was able to use my tape and estimate roughly 7” from bottom screw to bottom edge.
