Q: QuestionWhen will the Dolby Vision firmware update be released? Sony promised this year. This year is rapidly coming to an end and I'm concerned they may abandon the update. I bought the TV with the promise of Dolby Vision support.
Asked by Carl940.
- A:Answer I contacted Sony customer service and I was told it should be soon. They will not abandon it, if they do they would have to pay everyone back. I think by next month latest.

Q: QuestionIf I purchase a Dolby Atmos soundbar to go with this tv, will I be able to get on the VUDU app and stream a movie that was mastered in Dolby Atmos directly from the tv and have it play through the soundbar in Dolby Atmos?
Asked by James.
- A:Answer Currently the VUDU app on the TV does NOT support UHD playback from VUDU. However VUDU DOES support UHD playback on the Chromecast Ultra... I believe that VUDU simply has to add the TV (yes I do own it / love it) to the supported UHD list and it will work. I have requested VUDU to do this.

Q: QuestionHow does the new XBR75900F compare with the XBR75940E? Which has better sound? Which has better clarity and color?
Asked by Ed01.
- A:Answer I can not speak for the759f, I was prepared to go in and buy an oled Then940e was side by side with the same content, the 940e was better, then the Sony OLED the picture was bright and the detail was also good. I than left and brought a friend who also agreed with me. I did not check how they sounded, either use a sound bar or separate, you need to see the pictures as close as you can and play the same content. Take someone with you pick what looks best in high def or 4K. And standard tv programming, buy what your gut and wallet says. Best of Luck

Q: QuestionWhy on earth should we have to pay best buy $150 to unbox and put the stand on this tv? Other places do it for free. The size and price alone should warrant at least that much.
Asked by Bah.
- A:Answer I had the tv delivered because of the size but the delivery was only a drop off. No unboxing or putting the tv on the stand. I'm not talking about mounting or anything else. I dont need any hookups or mounting on the wall. Because of the weight an size I only wanted it unboxed and put on the stand. That isn't worth $150.

Q: QuestionI was told that I can just watch whatever show or movie I want on netflix, hulu, etc, but I want to watch regular TV also. Does this 4k TV need cable, and if so is the Fire Stick suitable for it?
Asked by Lupe.
- A:Answer Hi Lupe, You'll need to connect either an antenna or cable box for watching TV shows. Using a fire stick is also compatible with the TV via HDMI connection. Thanks. ~Ralph
