“When they talk about the viewing angle how do you figure that out? I want to make sure everyone can see a good picture in my family room.”

If you're really worried about viewing angle I would buy the x80j. Has a IPS panel and has better viewing angles. Costless too. Some people can't tell the difference. There might be a slight difference in less brightness. The 75-in x85j is not too bad with viewing angles unless you are really off to the side. Because of what I read I was worried about the viewing angle after I ordered mine but it's pretty good.
