The mounts are made to hold ranges of sizes. I don't know exact numbers but the one ours is on is for 65" and up. And we have a 75" tv. I think the range before it is 45" to 64" so if your 65" was properly mounted on a mount for 65" and larger you will be good. Hope this is helpful!

Both the 65" and 75" X900H have the same VESA HOLE PITCH (W x H) of 11.8" x 11.8" (300 mm x 300 mm). For wall mounting, please visit your local retailer to find a VESA stand that meets the size of your TV, your wall or environmental requirements, and stylistic preferences.
