Hi Al, Thanks for your inquiry. You can install this TV in a wall-mount with VESA compliance. It does have a VESA hole pitch (W x H) of 300 x 300 mm (11.81 x 11.81 inch). If you are planning to wall mount this 77" A80J, we suggest using the compatible Sony SU-WL855 wall mount bracket. For safety and product protection, we recommend that a qualified professional performs the installation of your TV on the wall. The wall must have the strength to withstand four times (six times in some models) the weight of the TV. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just bought this TV and used the same wall mount kit that we had used for our previous TV, which was a 50” TV, so much smaller. We didn’t even have to move the mount at all. We did have to adjust the brackets where the screws are inserted though. One noteworthy adjustment we had to make was to buy longer screws from the hardware store because the screws that came with the TV are very short, and they fit perfectly without going through a bracket. So once you add the width of the bracket, you really need a slightly longer screw to ensure it holds the TV up. I also think it’s good to know that the mounting screws are located on the lower half of the TV. Last but not least - for us, this was a 3-4 person job. We did it ourselves but needed friends to hold it up to mount it. Hope this helps.
