Hi Dee, Thank you for the inquiry! We're sorry to hear about this issue. What are the devices connected? What is the current source? Closed Captions may not be available for some TV broadcasts. Whether a given app supports the Closed Caption feature depends on the app. Some apps, such as Netflix, enable Closed Captions by using their own setting menu instead of pressing the CC (Subtitle) button on the TV remote control. In addition, some apps can change the text size and color. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. Open Accessibility Settings. To activate captions on your Sony TV, go to the settings menu from the home screen. From there, go down to the accessibility settings under the personal menu of the settings. 2. Open the Captions Menu. Under accessibility, the first option is captions. Opening this will allow you to enable captions for cable and antenna content, or streaming and other internet media sources. If you need captions on a regular basis, it's probably best to enable both.
