Make sure the sound output is set to TV speakers and not Audio system, then check the Audio system prioritization. Press the (Quick Settings), then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — disable [Audio system prioritization]. If enabled, the message "Switching to External Speakers" will appear and this automatically switches the audio output to a BRAVIA Sync compatible external speakers it detected when the TV is powered on.
