Sony TVs look the best in the darkest environment possible, so it's a good idea to turn off all lighting sources if you really want the best viewing experience. For best picture quality, we do not recommend exposing the screen to direct illumination or sunlight and installing the TV in a room with a reflective wall and floor materials. You can always adjust the picture and brightness setting of the TV for any glare concerns.
