At this price why isn’t it an OLED? null

This is actually a better picture them OLED. While it can't match the black levels of an old, thanks to its master drive backlight unit, it is capable of producing 5x the brightness of an OLED. This is becoming very important with new dooby vision content which is mastered to 4000 nits. For perspective, an LG C9 oled can only output 750 nits, far lower then what the source material assumes.

There is only one oled close to this size and 8k, but it costs 3x more!
