If you turn off the overheat warning it works perfect no issues. Used for filming for 2 hours works fine. Just ensure that you open the view finder that helps with keeping cool. It does get warm but never shut off.

If the camera does get too hot it will give you a warning and then shut off to keep the heat from frying the main board. How long you can record for before it overheats depends on your video settings, how rigorous you are running the processor, the ambient temperature and the media you are using. You can refer to the help guide of each camera for their approximate record time.
