If you aren't messing with it while recording it sound good. While recording if you slide your finger across it, it picks that up really loudly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cam's sound is a mixed bag. The quality is actually good with great detail and accuracy. Bad news is the incredibly high noise - it's like the wind is constantly blowing - it's really bad. It's fine for conversation, like blog vids, or for action sports with the wind blowing anyway. But for music, no way - far too noisy. Also, the internal mics are only usable OUTSIDE the case - so you need to consider the logistics of that no matter how yo intend to use it.
