Q: QuestionFor some reason my Smart TV isn't picking up the fact that there's a blu-ray player. Essentially I can't use it. It reads the power is on but no home screen displays. All connections are good.

• A:Answer The correct answer to this is that you have to connect us via Wi-Fi or the network cable and then do a full update of the unit. Once you’ve done that the applications menu and settings also gets updated. At this time you will need to Google Sony BDP Disney+ application if they have updated it on their site you will be able to do that on this unit. Probably a better idea is to get a NVIDIA Media streaming player. Best Buy does so it just look and search on their website Hope this helps

• A:Answer It does have an on/off button on DVD player, Not sure what you mean by on the "manual". The player will return to "standby" mode if button on player is not pressed for more than 20 minutes.
