Hi Lauriemomx2, If you're referring to the actual Internet capability of the player. No, you can't because parental lock is for the level of restriction for Blu-ray Disc movie or DVD movie based on the region of the movie, for Blu-ray Disc movie content, for the playback of a DVD movie, and this setting allows you to block or prevent viewing unrated Internet videos. In addition, the built-in internet browser for this unit doesn't have the capability to download. If your kids are smart enough to hack around the studio's anti circumvention measures and get it to download torrents your parental locks won't have a chance
