“Do either of the 7500 and 6500 models stream Netflix in 4K? Hello I currently have a Sony 6500 model and cannot get Netflix to stream in 4K, only 1080p. I also have a Sony 75" XBR850 that will stream Netflix in 4K but was hoping to use the Blu-ray player as it's hooked up to my surround sound system. Does the 7500 offer Netflix streaming in 4K or is there any kind of firmware update planned for the 6500 to allow for Netflix 4K playback?”

These players upscale to 4K. Real 4K players will not be released until next year. So you will not be able to access 4K streaming content. Now I can on my Sony 940c because it's a 4K device. So you should be able to access the 4K content on Netflix through your 850c app.
