“Connections to Sony HTCT380 soundbar? I also got the Sony HTCT380 soundbar & it came with an optical cable. Do I attach the optical cable &/or HDMI? Which is better, or use both? It's working with both but don't know if it's redundant or which one its using. I'm not using the hdmi outputs on the soundbar.”

I use a Sony MiniDisc digital TOSLINK optical cable from the TV to the Soundbar and it is in sync and works well, Any other connection would be redundant.
