• This is probably due to your cable box or other provider - often you have to use the cable remote for everything but sound. My cable provider offers instructions on how to program the remote THEY supply so that I don't use the remote that came with the TV at all. Hope this helps- try calling your cable or direct TV provider.

• Hi there, If it's on the remote pls. try replacing the batteries. You can also try to adjust the volume on the TV itself. -Anthony
