• The Inputs and Outputs are both the same holes. Meaning they both work as inputs and outputs. Hope that was helpful.

• It's 4 HDMI inputs. Why would you need HDMI output from your tv?

• There are no 4 outputs but 4 HDMI ports with one of them as HDMI ARC and other as MHL so you can connect smart phone or other mobile device through MHL and ARC can be used both way input and output. The setup that I have I am connecting my Sony sound bar to HDMI ARC and PS4 to input to my soundbar so PS4 video gets to TV (Input) while when playing netflix sound gets through soundbar (output).
