QuestionWill this speaker work with a direct co-ax style cable from my Yamaha HTR-5130 amplifier?

- Answer Hello Poppy, Thank you so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, this subwoofer doesn't support coax cable. The line input port of our SA-CS9 115W 10” Active Subwoofer uses an RCA cord. If your Yamaha HTR-5130 amplifier supports the same connection for a subwoofer, then yes, the SA-CS9 115W 10” Active Subwoofer will work perfectly. You can use the supplied RCA cord of this subwoofer to connect it to your Yamaha HTR-5130 amplifier. Note: Please ensure that your Yamaha receiver supports the impedance rating (6 ohms) of our SA-CS9 to avoid any issues. Matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver. I hope you find this information to be helpful! - Romeo

- Answer No. It will not work with your Bose soundbar. Bose equipment is proprietary. There equipment will only work with other Bose items. Most likely, their is only one or two Bose subwoofers that will work with that particular soundbar

- Answer Works well. Can either use single dual jack connection or direct wire connection in back of sub woofer. Easily adjusted with rear panel controls.

- Answer No; the subwoofer line input is an RCA jack. You can use a 3.5mm to RCA adapter, but the input is designed for a receiver subwoofer line output jack--which combines both channels into one low-frequency output.

Questioni HAVE A SONY ACTIVE SUPER WOOFER MODEL SA-W441/SA/SA-442/SA-W541/SA-W542 THAT NO LONGER WORKS. IT IS CONNECTED TO OTHER COMPONENTS WITH A WIDE SYSTEM CONTROL CONNECTOR (looks like a black belt) . Are the newer subwoofers compatible with my subwoofer?

- Answer The speaker and cabinet are. Unhook the speaker from the amp, and run a line from an outside amp to the speaker. Has spectacular sound!!

To use this subwoofer on your TV, you will need to have an amplifier or AV receiver that supports both the TV and subwoofer connection.
