- Answer I don't think you can tweak the sensitivity. mine is hooked direct to TV's sub amp and it works fine even if TV volume is low

- Answer As long as there is an output I don't see why not. It accepts mono RCA, or you can used the wire clips (like speakers) it is not wireless though, not sure if that sound bar is or not.

- Answer Hi Steven, thank you so much for your question. Unfortunately, no. We do not recommend using our SA-CS9 115W 10” Active Subwoofer to STRDE995 Home Receiver. Matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver. Hope this helps! - Romeo

QuestionCan I use the SACS9 alone to improve the sound of the already decent built in speakers of the X90Js to improve the bass? And if so how would it be hooked up?

- Answer I don't know anything about the system you described, but this subwoofer has a pre-amp rca connection, and positive and negative speaker wire connections on the back of the subwoofer (see product images at BestBuy.com). If you're system has either of those capabilities, then you should be able to use this subwoofer with it. If using the pre-amp option, connect an rca cable to your pre-amp output, then to the subwoofer. If using speaker cables, connect your system to the subwoofer (L/R IN), then connect the subwoofer to your speakers (L/R OUT). If you don't have either of these options, then you can't use it.

However, if it has a special jack for a subwoofer (like a MONO OUT jack, MIX OUT jack, SUBWOOFER jack, or SUPER WOOFER jack), you can connect the LINE IN jack of the subwoofer to one of those jacks using the supplied audio connecting cord. - Answer Output for the subwoofer on a Denon receiver is passive so you would need an RCA cable to connect the active Sony subwoofer
