Q: Questionwhat's the difference between the older model (of these) and this one (2025) ??? how bout worded this way... What specs are different that makes these BETTER then the old ones ?fyi i own the older ones and they work great BUT they were only $100 set

The PS-LX310BT turntable does not have a built-in amplifier to directly power passive speakers like the SSCS5M2. The SSCS5M2 are passive speakers and require an external amplifier or AV receiver to function. The PS-LX310BT can output audio via its RCA (LINE OUT) jacks, which you would connect to an amplifier, and then connect the amplifier to your SSCS5M2 speakers. Alternatively, the PS-LX310BT can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to powered speakers or headphones that support the required Bluetooth profiles (A2DP 1.3), but not to passive speakers directly.
