- Answer Yes, the battery is included. I predominantly use mine to shoot continuous 4K video, and can get up to 52 minutes before the battery dies. I would venture to guess you could get thousands of still pictures on a full battery.

- Answer This camera is compatible with shooting grip/tripod GP-VPT2BT. I have one and it's great to do video. You can link and control the camera with your iPhone by installing the Sony Imaging Edge Application. It works rather well controlling the camera and downloading pictures from your card in the camera.

For the Charger the compatible models are AC-UB10, AC-UD10 and BC-TRX. For the external flash, the camera does not have a hot shoe so you can't attach an external flash.
