I have recorded calls where I was on speaker and just had the device near the phone. Check your state laws to make sure you are violating wire tapping laws.

Please try again later.I recorded a conversation by placing my phone on speakerphone and setting the recorder beside it and it worked very well, picking up both my voice and the voice of the person on the phone. It was also very clear. Unfortunately I'm not sure if you can get a cord to link it directly in to your phone to allow for direct recording.
