• Yes, add/overwrite allows you to both add new information and overwirte existing information.

• It's mentioned in the manual that you can "Add" to a recording - but I just tested it -- NO, it's not available at all unfortunately. It's almost like they wrote the manual for a entirely different device, because I also discovered that the Voice-Activation-Recording ("VOR") isn't selectable either, like the manual says! But- if you want to PAUSE your recording, and then continue it later-- that is possible.

• Yes, you can append to the end of a previous recording as many times as you want, regardless of when it was made.

• Well for me its great and yes you can down load music is a complete equipment
