Yes, it's compatible but with restrictions: -The angle of view will be narrower down to that of APS-C size. -The [Lens Comp.: Distortion] setting will be set to "Auto". -You can change the operating direction of the zooming ring by upgrading the lens software to Ver. 02 or later. ~Ralph

- Answer Most likely, I don’t have the lens in front of me to confirm that. What I can confirm is the great build quality. It doesn’t look or feel cheap at all, responds well on my a6000.

QuestionWhat is a good lense to use for sporting events. Indoor volleyball and football

- Answer The answer depends a lot on where you would be shooting these events from and what level of play you are photographing. Youth sports and club sports allow you much closer access and a slower pace. For football, a 200mm lens can certainly capture good images down on the field - along the sidelines or the end zone area (you can get decent shots out to around the 20 yard line with this length). Longer lenses (300mm and up) are even more useful, especially if you shoot a lot of this type of event. For volleyball, a 200mm can be adequate for shooting from the stands or for shooting from the far end of the court. A shorter lens is better if your are shooting closer, like the sidelines near the net. I shoot high school sports and some professional sports for years with only a 200mm lens and a 50mm lens.

- Answer Don't have the 24-200, sorry. This lens is for an aps-c camera like the a6xxx cameras, not a full frame, however it can be used on a ff camera but won't be great. I have it on an 6300 and like it. Better getting a ff lens for the a7 series ff cameras.
