• Hi Kris, yes, it can only reach up to the unit's microphone/multi-function button. Additionally, this unit comes with a wire manager to avoid its wires from being tangled. • There is a slide about 1/2 way up the wires -- it will come up until it reaches a button on one of the earbud wires.
