“Is the Sony FE 70-300 G OSS an internal or external zoom?”

• It’s an external zoom, meaning the body of the lens extends as you zoom. A couple of things with it though: the zoom is very smooth, I’ve used at the beach with a bunch of flying sand and no issues so far (seems to be sealed well), it also has a zoom lock so it won’t extend if you’re just carrying it lens down (the lock is only at 70mm though).
