There are no teleconverters that work with this lens. Sony makes a 1.4X and 2X that work with the SEL70200GM f2.8 G Master ONLY. I have heard rumors of a 100-400mm lens MAYBE coming this year. Or... You could use an LAEA3 or LAEA4 (depending on your body) to adapt something like Tamron's 150-600mm a mount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know for sure. The only potential issue I see involves using a teleconverter with this lens on a full-frame camera. The resultant image might not fill the sensor. My my a6000 and a6300 camera bodies have smaller sensors. When I was looking for a longer zoom lens before this one was available, an expert at a local camera shop tried to sell me a teleconverter for use with a shorter zoom, but the combination was too bulky for my needs. My only recommendation is to check with a local camera shop and try for yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This lens is E-mount, it will work only with sony mirrorless cameras. APS-c as well full frame both are compatible with this lens.
