- Answer It would be covered under the manufactures limited 1 year warranty, Geek Squad also provides a 90 day warranty on refurbished items.

QuestionWhy does the real unit comes with an active pen and the refurbished doesn't?This model Sony vaio fit 13A flip series, comes in box with an active pen (digitilizer). All units. And this refurbished, which should returned completed doesn't have one? it's weird.

- Answer Somebody returned for whatever the case may be, however it is thoroughly serviced by Geek Squad to it's original state. If it's Geek Squad you will never have an issue ever, it's guaranteed. If it's refurbished from Marketplace you may or may not have as good customer service.

- Answer Bestbuy store and also the customer service service told me it can be returned within 14 days. In addition, I paid via paypal. Paypal coveres you for 45 days if the product is defective or not as described. I am not sure if 1 year warranty will come from sony or bestbuy.
