I havee not been able to get mine to work that way. Very disappointed about that. Otherwise they work great. I have 2 of another bramd. One works on my oldest tv where u can hear in room and headset can be be tuned LOUD. The other same brand r will not work that way on my new Fire TV. Only works thru headset and you have to get up and unplug from tv to hear from only tv speaker. Sonys have to be unplug ed to get sound from tv. I researched "google" but still have not found a work around for these. If you find a solution, please post it with details we seniors can understand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes with our Samsung tv, I listen to the tv and my husband listens via the headphones. I don’t know if it is dependent on the tv type. He has another tv that when hooked up to headphones that will not allow others in the room to hear. We have not tried these headphones on that tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Would not buy these. They say 90 day manufacturers warranty. I was within that period I called Sony they do not honor that warranty on refurbished. I contacted Best Buy online as I ordered them online I don’t have a local store. They first told me it was through Sony I explained what I was told by Sony. Then he said he could not help me go to a store. I am not driving two hours to be told they don’t have replacements. So don’t take a risk with these thinking u have a warranty.
