QuestionDoes the camera have night vision? And is it waterproof?

- Answer It's got a low light mode, but no night vision. And it is definitely NOT waterproof. The entire lens and sensor assembly is basically floating inside the body, if water were to get in through those seams it would brick it in short order.

- Answer You can export your videos and pictures only to a computer with the USB port. From the computer, you would transfer it to a DVD burner or editing software.

When the feature is activated, it will record for 3 seconds. However, the video will display as a 12-second, slow-motion movie when playing back.. Thank you so much for your question. - Answer No, it doesn't. The FDR-AX53 is the model that has an EVF (viewfinder). However be aware it is very poor quality. Hope that helps!

- Answer Yes - though depending on the exact model of mic it might require you to purchase some accessories that expands its input options. Out of the box it only supports external mics using a standard 3.5mm minijack.

- Answer You can. It requires the download of a separate app from Sony called Imaging Edge Mobile and going through a brief pairing process. Once that's done your phone basically acts like an external version of the camera's built in touchscreen.

QuestionShould you be able to feel the gimbal moving around inside the camera when the lens cover is closed? I thought it was supposed to be stationary until you open the lens cover and are ready to start filming.

- Answer If you have a stereo 1/8th inch cable plugged into the mic jack (without the other end connected to anything) you can definitely record with no audio.
