“Can we upload photos/videos via WiFi to a cloud storage site? Our CX440 was stolen, and precious footage on the microSD card along with it. If we had uploaded our videos/photos every night, or when in range of WiFi, we could have at least salvaged them.”

Hi PickyPaul, We are sorry to hear that. Sony HDR-CX405 camcorder has a Wi-Fi function. You can create a backup of your pictures and videos and save them from a computer or a smartphone.
