“Can I use the optical port to connect to my Sony Bass Bazooka sony rdh-gtk37ip? I can transmit to it through Bluetooth, but then I can’t hear the sound bar or tv. I’d like to figure out a way to wire to it.”

Hi Frank, Thank you for the inquiry! The optical digital output of the soundbar is dedicated for television. So for example if your television doesn't support ARC/eARC, you can connect it using optical cable. We do not recommend connecting any speaker to the optical digital output of the soundbar.
