“1. is the bass adjustable. I do not like a heavy bass sound 2. will the sound bar work direct from Tv without using subwolfer. I live in an apt. and cannot have a booming sound”

Hi Maxwellsmart, Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you can adjust the bass using the subwoofer level volume on the remote control of the unit. And, yes. you can connect the soundbar to the TV without using the subwoofer. Hope this helps! -Sam
