QuestionGreen light is on the box but for some reason it doesn’t sound like it’s working. I press the sw plus button it doesn’t sound like it’s on. Could be wrong but is there a certain bottom on the remote for the box

- Answer If it's similar to my situation, I used it on my PC. What I had to do is change the Sound Setting to Stereo and then the subwoofer worked perfectly. The green light should indicate the SW is connected.

To listen sound on the soundbar wirelessly or via Bluetooth connection, the TV needs to be compatible with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile. Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) is an HDMI function that allows the command and control of devices connected to your audio system and TV. Press and hold – (volume) and (power) on the Bar Speaker for more than 5 seconds. All indicators on the Bar Speaker flash 3 times, and the settings return to their initial status. 2. Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead). 3 Connect the AC power cord (mains lead), then press power to turn on the Sound Bar. - Answer Hi Albert, We're sorry to hear you're having a low subwoofer sound issue with your unit. If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. To ensure optimal sound and bass performance, set the night mode to off. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4748/e34a75abf7aac4f23b7cd29347800824/47487571M.pdf (page 22). Also, to ensure optimal audio performance when listening to TV and movie content, we recommend the Cinema Mode. We recommend Music mode if you are listening to music. Hope this helps! -Sam

- Answer Thanks, I guess, for at least taking the time to tell me it has nothing to do with the sound bar. I guess what doesn't make sense is the bar this unit replaced is connected the same way and I didn't have issues like this before. Also, I checked the settings before posting the question. No worries though, it's only a couple weeks old. I'll simply return it and purchase a different brand.
