As long as your turntable has an RCA plug the to red and white standard audio plugs you should have no problem.

If a PHONO input is not available, the turntable must have a built-in amplifier or an in-line amplifier must be used to connect the turntable to another input on the stereo system. Unfortunately the Shake55 does not have a Phono Input. NOTE: Sony does not produce an in-line amplifier.
