• They don't notify you. It's just a gimmick to send you advertisements

• I signed up to be notified and I was. That is how I got my pre-order in. Pre-orders were supposed to be the day after the last PS5 event but instead, they came that day. If I hadn't signed up to be notified by Best Buy I would not have got my pre-order in.
