“So I tried for hours to check out & when I do finally get through to pay I try to use a gift card and when I submit payment it fails and my gift card is no longer good when I try to resubmit payment. Your website has literally taken money from me.”

It shouldn't have taken your money, are you sure? cause the payment could have just failed cause they ran out of stock. When you preorder something you are reserving the product with preauthorization of the amount of your preordered item, the money should not have been withdrawn until the item is ready to ship which is around the time the product is suppose to launch. Maybe double check your gift card balance online or through the phone if you have not, before you deem that they stole money from you. If that IS the case I suggest you contact Best Buy's customer support to solve this issue
