• A:Answer I would suggest that you use a third party app, like Hotstock, to alert you when the PS5 will be in stock. I got my PS5 from Best buy that way. I picked up the console about a week later because they didn't have it in stock when I placed the order. So, in a way, it was a preorder. You just need to know when will Best Buy allow you to place that order.

• A:Answer If you purchase them the disc edition, not the digital edition, then someone could game offline with it. The system itself and the games made for it need software patches throughout time and it is recommended to connect to the internet every now and then for that purpose; but it should be possible to play offline with disc versions of the games. Your mileage may very though as many video game studios rely upon software patches to update their games to eliminate bugs and glitches.

• A:Answer Ive noticed they usually restock every week or every other week. If you have a twitter you can follow a restock alert account and turn the notifications on when they tweet, you should be able to get one right away. Ive gotten 2 PS5s this way in 2 different drops

• A:Answer I know people at Best Buy. It’s random. They get shipments every month. Once they get word from the higher ups that’s when they drop. It’s safe to say if you have total tech, you can except a drop on any Monday.

• A:Answer After going through the discord restock servers (lots of them if you just google), BestBuy (in addition to Target) is one of the best places to buy a ps5 in 2022 as they have a line system when there is a restock, or their system only lets some people in at a time either elimination bots or at least reducing the number of bots that can snag orders.

• A:Answer Trust me when I say this. They don't even try to alert us. I've asked about this with the total tech and went to the store. They say keep checking the app on Mondays. Honest opinion is check gamestop, that's where I got mine from.
