A:AnswerI have both, right now, I don't see a difference. From a super nerd point of view, they are smaller, tend to draw less power and can be made a little faster (keeping the shelves stocked) and maybe a design flaw that we didn't notice to begin with. All PlayStations have an original and a slim, it was going to happen. The ONLY thing I see that is different is the new slim one have 2 USB-C (on the front) and 2 USB-B (on the back) on the system. The original had, 1 USB-C and 3 USB-B. So, like I said not much.

A:Answerwell saving on a external drive is possible but you cant run the games directly through the external drive!! for PlayStation 5 it is mandatory to use the ssd for games, what you can do is save the games space on the external drive and when you want to play them switch them to the internal ssd to play and when you finish switch it back thast how you can save space
A:AnswerGames are getting quite large nowadays. I only bought mine for the exclusives, so it's enough for my use case, but it can be expanded with an SSD, just make sure that it is compatible with the console before purchasing one.
