What does it mean as digital and what is physical? null

Digital code. They email it to you and you redeem the code on your PlayStation account. Physical is the card you pickup in the checkout isle and you purchase and the cashier activates your "card", you then go home and redeem it to your PlayStation account. Digital you buy it here and your code is emailed to you. Mine always come within 5 minutes.
