- Answer You don’t need it to download/buy games. You will only need it if you want to access any of the online features a game might have, play online with other people, etc etc. You do get some perks though, two free game downloads every month. Also extra discounts on certain games.

- Answer You still have to buy games, but every month there are up to three free games you can get if you have plus. It is mostly so you can play online with others, and use those games that require plus to run.

QuestionWhy is the 12-Month DIGITAL subscription "Sold Out"? It is a digital code, how is that sold out at all? Having to order a physical card and having it shipped to me is a REAL pain.

QuestionWhat does it mean as digital and what is physical?

- Answer Digital code. They email it to you and you redeem the code on your PlayStation account. Physical is the card you pickup in the checkout isle and you purchase and the cashier activates your "card", you then go home and redeem it to your PlayStation account. Digital you buy it here and your code is emailed to you. Mine always come within 5 minutes.
